The mischievous yet endearing lady can only be matched up by the playful and hilarious side of the lad. You can bet that it was one Friday afternoon set to full blast in the company of these two. Somewhere along the coastline of Mabini, with these energy driven couple, DP mused at how this joy ride was going to end two days later at the altar.

p.s.

a definite fast forward to produce post wedding jitters. :D

Arriving hours earlier than expected gave DP the time to stay collected while breathing in deeply on relax mode. The De La Salle Lipa’s chapel was a delight of open-air and contemporary façade. It is also a pleasure working with Meann and Wennie (of Shindig) as they have always made sure that everything was hassle-free from sun-up to sun-down.

Well, looks like being an early bird pays off. :D

For a couple who’s always on and never seemed to be off, a quick-stop photo shoot is the only solution. Strip off of the red carpet or floral arrangement, the Basilica still echoes its grandeur all the way around. The church welcomed DP with no ceremony, no guests, no entourage – all that mattered was the couple, the lens, and the Basilica with its ongoing construction on the right side wing. :D

In all the same places, it still is a different story proudly told by DP.

Amorous moments in a wet market? For this couple, it sure was! Cupid struck the groom-to-be hard when he saw her amongst the fishies. Cupid then gave him another tip when he found out that she was his schoolmate! How sweet this game Cupid was playing on them. Working his charm, he was able to get into her world once again. And the rest, as they say, is history!

The bride’s face was smooth and matte, a canvas clear and primed. The makeup artist’s expert flick of his wrist, the brush gently clinched between his fingers, conducting the tool with skill and flair. Time to put away that serious look and put those dancing shoes on, Groom! From the altar washed with gold (both of metal and sun-flare) to the cake-cutting ceremony, the Man and Wife are now One.

Love is never confined to specific time: it’s eternal. Donning apparels from the Spanish Era, they look the ideal well-to-do Filipino couple of that day and age. With a guitar in arm, the love-struck man strumming his solo under the window of his beloved is the dreamy image of courtship. Amor. Eternamente.

With the seaport as the backdrop these pre-nups had a ragged yet romantic feel to this shoot. Sporting sun-shades while striking poses, these two knew how to work the angles to their advantage. Shot in black-and-white, their strong cheekbones and deep-set eyes stood out. Shot against a setting sun, their merged figures present one shadow. Though this seaside port was location Plan B, this just shows that when the couple, site, and Team DP collaborate, the result is a masterpiece.

A setting sun doesn’t mean no light source. Team DP got resourceful and used car headlights to do the job. With the couture talents of Lauren Berberabe and make-up expertise by Ariane, this debby had a smashing photo shoot. Strutting in child-like skirts with a lollipop in hand to sleek lady-lace apparel with pearly-beads around her neck, this debby has definitely transformed from a baby to a lady.
