Jaroy + Kat nuptials | photos

“Preparation is different from execution.” And it was, it surely was. Penetrating the enthusiatic , anticipating nerves of team DP, they finally came up with one satisfying solution – packed up the gears one day ahead.  Preparation kept the ball rolling on top speed and flawless  disposition. But as much as DP wants everything to be perfect, they can only hope that badluck will loose its way in finding them. The next morning, all ready and excited to make the plunge into the midst of Jaroy and Kat’s wedding, DP was confronted with one big mistake – their suppose-to-be ride that has stashed all the gears was missing in action.

The only choice was to move forward. Make the best of what was left. Afterall, no matter what camera it is you’re holding, talent still captures the best. :D

Ryan + Mitch engagement | photo

Three is never a crowd. Ryan and Mitch can prove that. After a handy civil wedding, they are now enjoying the company of their daughter. Their photo shoot was far and away from the busy streets of the metro, they opted for the quiet, lush greenery somewhere along the rough road. The shoot was nothing but flawless, there were no awkward lines drawn or shy faces in-sight. They were completely goofy and comfortable anywhere near each other.

DP insists. Three is obviously a lovely number. :D

Rainy season is in the house. After one, hot summer dry spell, the rain had found its way towards the front door . . . and it knocked on the day of Charizza’s photo shoot! Tayabas was a sure win location but with the downpour looking heavy after each sight, DP’s undecided thought was ruled by the umbrella scenario or the waiting-in-vain setting. Still very much thankful that the silver lining soon dawned as the rain half-halted into a soft drizzle, Charizza strut herself out of the gloom and stepped into the spotlight.

DP’s limited hands and feet showed off how quickly they can adapt to any kind of season. :D

Ed + Rizza engagement | photo

DP has heard all kinds of story that seemed to follow the plot of every movie there is – from love-at-first-sight to the one-that-got-away, DP shared the same enthusiasm for each and every one of them. So here comes the newest addition to the long list of love stories, the high school sweethearts starring Ed and Rizza, who, after all those years are still delighted to wear matching watches. :)

Need to say more about their favorite color? It’s spelled as R-E-D. :D

Jim Paul + Kyreen On-site | Video

Jim Paul + Kyreen On-site | Video from dPicman on Vimeo.

Revenge is in the air. After surviving the lost battle against the system error, we’re up and running not to make the same mistake again. The goal was to be two-steps ahead of last time. For starters, DP arrived two hours earlier than our usual call time and followed the on-site to do list with speed and accuracy. Come reception, DP was confident that the video would push through untainted without any residue of conflict. Maybe we were concluding way ahead because by the time everybody was ready, the on-site audio was not. With scrambled thoughts and hopeless sighs, the responsibility now lies in the hand of the (in-house) mobile. Retreat was now becoming an option but not for long, the audio was soon fixed  (thanks to Alex of DP, who came up with a handy solution) and DP relished the high of victory.

Enjoy DP’s fail-safe graceful payback! :D

Celemin Family | portrait session

To beat the summer heat, we are all full of choices. The how and where are given with options that can easily be filled. The ‘who’ comes down to a preference of friends or family, and if you’re lucky enough, the answer can be both. This family had decided to gather themselves in one place and enjoyed one hot day in-style! Looking in their best, with their groovy aunt and stunning cousins, this family portrait became bonding galore. :D

Time constraints will forever be a famous enemy. The following 60 minutes after DP’s arrival were crucial. It was a ready-set-go photo shoot with everything and everybody in a fast paced, play-forward mode. Carla didn’t mind, she was all the time composed and attentive which kept her on top of her game.
DP made a quick roundup of pre-occasion must-haves which remarkably gave away a staggering array of photos. :D

DP has always been a team – never a one-man show. DP is a group of seven guys working together as a whole and functioning as one solid unit. Suffice to say that, although the range of creativity varies, the dedication and hard work is just the same. This photo shoot was Jay’s assignment. From lighting to styling, every little detail and all the big decisions were entirely up to him. Lheia was confident that even without DP’s main man, the upshot will still meet her expectations and measure up to DP’s well-known standards.

This assignment gets a perfect star. :D
