She was straightforward with her request, and how can we say no? She wanted to have high-rise buildings on the background, and despite the challenges of permits and looking for the perfect spots, of course we immediately said Yes! She was game and cooperative all throughout, even when we were rushing from one location to another. In these shots, she could be in Clark Quay in Singapore or in Central Park in New York USA, or right here in the Philippines. But what stood out was how mod and chic she looked even at a tender age of 17. We couldn’t be more proud to show this side of her!

From the instant we focused our lens on her and proceeded with the shoot, we knew there was something special about her. She can bring her surroundings to life just by being there! No matter where she was, be it standing next to a public bathroom, or by the sea or biking along a dirt road, her presence made it all look extraordinary. This would-be debutante is definitely someone who stood out even when she was just fitting in. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the future!

If we were to liken this shoot to a scene in any movie, the montage in Legally Blonde where “Perfect Day” was playing would be perfect. It was indeed, a perfect day. This would-be debutante was having the time of her life, with the perfect sidekicks: her ever supportive mom and sister. It was such a breeze and everyone was having a great time, deciding on outfits and putting on make up and sharing stories in between. We almost forgot that this was a pre-event shoot and not a spread for Teen Vogue! The all-male members of Team DP couldn’t help but be taken by the trio’s infectious energy. After all, girls really do know how to have fun right?

When you celebrate a momentous event in your life, wouldn’t you want the special people in your life to be there with you? This debutante agrees. Her grand come out party was a showcase of her talents and a spectacle of how far she has come, and it was made ven special because her parents flew in from abroad to watch their little girl transform into the lady that they always knew she would become. Team DP was in awe of this debutante’s talent, and knew it would not be long for her to fulfill her dreams. It was such a good evening that Team DP ensured to have this momentous occasion, made even better by the reunion of the family, would bring delight and wonderful memories even years after. Team DP’s work always speaks for itself. When others, most especially former clients, give glowing reviews, it gives us such a great feeling. What more when we found out that this debby booked us upon recommendation from someone whose debut we unfortunately weren’t able to shoot because we were booked at that time! We are so grateful that Pam listened to her friend, because having her in front of the camera was such a blast! This debutante knew her angles and knew what to do! It was such a breeze shooting her. Team DP can’t wait to see what Pam will be in the next few years, a model perhaps?
