Fate has done all sorts of things just to get this couple together. Same baranggay? Check! Same course in college? Yes! Same company to work for? You bet! Yet all it took was taking the same bus ride to finally enable their meeting and get them together! It must have been one heck of a smooth ride all the way to their next destination, the altar, because these two have been going strong since that bus ride. It comes as no surprise that we used their story as mood board for our photo shoot. We were just so in awe of how Fate worked its magic on these two.

Contrary to popular belief that couples who have been together for so long become relegated to being “too comfortable”, these two are the exact opposite! They may be at ease with each other, but Team DP observed that there definitely was more than just “comfort” in each other’s arms. Maybe, the years they spent together gave them time to appreciate each other better, or maybe they just know each other too well to recognize that this shoot was special, or maybe they were really excited for their upcoming nuptials. Whatever the real reason, Team DP would like to think that these two were exhibiting such comfort and ease because they know they are in good hands with Team DP at the helm. Don’t you agree?

Trust is one thing, confidence is another. And Team DP is lucky that this couple gave us both! All they said were the magic words “Kayo na ang bahala” and let us do our magic, without question, hesitation, or issue. The bride-to-be was especially deferential and followed exactly what we asked her to do. Another bonus? She brought balloons (that she made herself) to the shoot! Her creativity and spontaneity endeared her to Team DP even more. It was a beautiful day, and yes, it was a perfect day to be act young-at-heart, be in love, and live carefree.

Knowing them for 8 1/2 years gave it a way. It was a relationship that came about splendidly through my wife. through all those times and in between memory gaps, it was always a funny tug-of-a-war on who’s the boss. I was there. I saw how much they have grown as a couple and i couldn’t be any happier for them than i am now.

p.s. it was ridiculously hard to concentrate when your friend turns out to be the client, for me its mostly the other way around.

They say that the grass is greener on the other side. Some people say you just have to look outside and see the difference. Team DP agrees! Nope, we’re not talking about looking for other people or wishing about better situations. We’re talking about looking at what’s behind Hotel Pontefino! Yes, we discovered that it was a great place to shoot, and thankfully the Management of Hotel Pontefino allowed us! It was a venue we never really took notice of until now. And yes, for Edwin and Clet, good thing we looked further; because the setting for their shoot was perfect for their relaxed, easy-going and laid-back personalities!
