Call us cheesy, but we can’t help but think of the song “Can We Just Stop and Talk A While” when we found out this couple’s love story. How can you blame us, when it all started with a serendipitous meeting at a popular coffee establishment (the red, not the green one)! She was a barista, he was a customer. Of all the shops he would visit, he went to the one where she’s working at. Was it fate? Was it coincidence? One thing led to another, and the years of being in a long distance relationship finally led to this day. It was indeed a happy day, because his dream girl, who caught his eye on that fateful day while she served him his coffee, was now his betrothed, set to serve him not only coffee but also give him her love and life for years to come.

It was a mutual understanding at first meeting, even better than love at first sight. Introductions were not needed, and a beautiful partnership was immediately established. We’re talking about our relationship with this couple! The bride was already familiar with our work that we didn’t need to show her our portfolio at our first meeting! She said they trusted us to make them look good on their pictures. Of course, we didn’t want to let them down. They were so nice and never complained about any of the things we wanted them to do. They were open and very easy to talk to. They listened to us and shared their opinions. Talk about an ideal relationship!

It was a long journey, but worth it when we got there, literally. At the end of this shoot, just when we were getting ready to leave (we needed to be at another shoot, 2 hours away from the location), the mom told us she prepared a meal for us. How can we say no? It was so good that it was hard to resist having a second serving! We cannot thank them enough for that satisfying meal, so allow us to show our appreciation by presenting the photo reel of Team DP’s best shots of them, that this couple entrusted us to execute. We hope you also find it satisfying.

This couple met at the workplace, and never stopped working together ever since, both on a personal and professional level. We liked how they interacted while we shot them, there were jokes and laughter in between, andd we could tell they were very in love and at ease. We didn’t have to goad them that much because they were setting the tone and the mood, they helped us work their good angles, and they knew what to do when we asked them to “be sweet”. It must be a very good working relationship indeed!

The Happiest Place on Earth may not be in this country, but the Kingdom where The Magic Is a wonderful alternative! It was the perfect shoot location for this couple, no wonder they insisted to shoot here. They seamlessly went from acting child-like one minute and then glamorous the next. They were perfectly at home in the location (not to mention that the outfits from Lauren Berberabe Couture helped set the mood and ease them into character), and it was a breeze to shoot them. We were all taken under their spell as they worked their magic all throughout our shoot. The location really does live up to its name! Of course, all this would not even be possible without the Coordinators Meann and Wennie of Shindig Themes and Events. We are lucky that these two are real-life fairy godmothers really knew how to grant the couple’s wish!
