If you were the bride or the groom, what would you if, on the day of your wedding out of town, the church official tells you that your wedding will have to be delayed indefinitely because the there are some documents that haven’t been submitted by the church in your hometown? Most brides would panic and be upset. Most grooms would be angry or concerned. This bride and groom were also upset and concerned, but logic took over emotions. With the help of their family and friends, they found a way to ensure that those pertinent documents were submitted. It took almost three hours of waiting, but in the end, all was worth it. It was a perfect wedding and nothing else went wrong. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief when it was announced that the wedding was a GO. From that point forward, the challenge was all but forgotten and all that was left was merry-making, perfection, and complete happiness. All Team DP had to do was angle, point, shoot, and let our subjects bask in the joy of finally, ever after.

Being in this business for quite sometime exposed Team DP to a whole range of human emotions. There’s always jitters, there’s fear sometimes, and most often, there is exhilaration. The bride in this clip gave us so much more that it was such a joy to document her! As the time for her to walk down the aisle got closer, she grew more animated and talkative! If she was anxious or nervous it never showed! It could be her nature, or her way to calm her nerves, Team DP would not know for sure. But in any case this video serves as a testament that shows that infusing a little (or a lot) of positive energy goes a long way in making your big day even more epic!

The inspiration for this video was the story of this couple. Who would have thought, despite so many miles apart, different time zones, and literally separate lives, these two would take the plunge towards forever? The groom, originally from Canada, would leave everything behind and start a new life with his wife in the UK. How romantic is that? Not even the most kilig of romantic comedies could beat what this real-life story had to offer. There’s no better way to share their story than to show you this short and sweet clip.
