The sun was shining, an indication of a good day. It was a good omen for the great afternoon that was bound to transpire. It was what everyone needed too, for the passing of the bride’s mother put some damper in the bride’s spirit, especially when the bride was getting ready for her big day. But all is well that ended well, and despite the emotional start, the day plowed ahead beautifully. Indeed, heaven was smiling down on this wonderful wedding day.

This was the bride who previously said that she didn’t want to be photographed by anyone else. She kept her word and got Team DP to shoot her pre-nuptial pictures and cover her big day. In the same manner, Team DP ensured that her expectations would be met, if not exceeded. It was an outdoor wedding and it was a beautiful day. With perfection everywhere, all Team DP needed to do was deliver what it does best, day in and out.

“Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this. Some people search forever.” And so the song goes. It was quite a long wait for this two, but the search was over a long time ago. Archie and Vangie have been together for many years, and those years formed the strong foundation of their journey towards happily ever after. And when that moment finally came, Team DP could not help but think about that song, because all that time leading up to the moment when they exchanged rings, recited their vows and professed their undying love and loyalty, it captured everything that this day promised and everything that will be for the rest of their lives.

Theirs is a union like any other, but a partnership unlike any other. We guess that this may be the reason why their wedding was unique on its own way. We are sure this couple chose purple for a reason, but it is interesting to know that it is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. Purple gives peace of mind. An when you see the photos and look at these two, you would instantly recognize just how at peace they were, and how, spiritual or not, their wedding day signified a sense of fulfillment for both of them. Seeing them together brought us such joy to be part of their wedding day.

You can tell that this wedding has the bride’s signature written all over it. The overall look was fun, quirky, girly and vibrant, very much like this bride. Even before the wedding, we already knew she always happy and as jolly as can be. That’s why it came as a surprise when, before the ceremony, we saw her in all seriousness, as she was fighting back tears. Jitters or not, her optimism still shone through, and within minutes, she was her bubbly self again. It was such fun to cover this wedding, from beginning to end. It was quite literally, a happy even after for these two.
